About the Role:

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Live-in Carers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to adults and children with complex care needs and/or learning disabilities. As a Live-in Carer, you will live in the client's home during your placement, providing support that enables them to live safely, independently, and with dignity.

Responsibilities

Deliver person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs.
Support clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
Assist with moving and handling using appropriate equipment where required.
Administer medication in line with care plans and company policies.
Support clients with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration.
Assist with household duties, including light cleaning and laundry.
Accompany clients to appointments and community activities.
Build positive relationships with clients and their families.
Maintain accurate daily care records and report any concerns promptly.
Follow safeguarding, infection control, and health and safety procedures at all times.

Complex Care Experience (Desirable):

Experience supporting one or more of the following:

Tracheostomy care.
PEG feeding.
Ventilator support.
Spinal injuries.
Brain injuries.
Epilepsy management.
Catheter care.
Stoma care.
Cough assist.
Suctioning.
End-of-life care.
Learning Disability Experience.
Experience supporting individuals with:
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Learning disabilities.
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
Mental health needs.
Behaviours that may challenge.
Communication difficulties.

Requirements:

At least 6 months' professional UK care experience (live-in experience preferred).
Right to work in the UK.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach.
Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or willingness to obtain one.
Mandatory training certificates are desirable.
